Rental cars are available, although many guests choose not to rent one as the villa's location makes it easy to explore the area using taxis, Uber, and private transportation services.

Our concierge can arrange airport transportation, private chef, spa services, restaurant reservations, guided tours, fishing charters, catamaran cruises, zip-lining, parasailing, waterfall excursions, and personalized experiences throughout your stay.
CAN WE ARRANGE A PRIVATE CHEF?
Absolutely. Our exclusive private chef is available to prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, hors d'oeuvres, and special celebration meals exclusively for Casa Playa y Selva, customizing menus to suit your tastes. We recommend arranging chef services in advance through our concierge.
DOES THE VILLA HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM?
Yes. Casa Playa y Selva features a dedicated laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, providing added convenience for longer stays, families, and beach days.
HOW OFTEN IS HOUSEKEEPING PROVIDED?
Housekeeping service is provided every two days. Additional housekeeping services may be arranged at any time during your stay for an additional fee per visit.
IS Wi-Fi AVAILABLE AT THE VILLA?
Yes. The villa features high-speed fiber optic Wi-Fi throughout the property, offering a strong and reliable connection for streaming, remote work, and seamless connectivity in the heart of the rainforest.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS A POWER OR WATER OUTAGE?
The villa is equipped with a full-property back-up generator to ensure uninterrupted power throughout your stay, even during occassional local outages. For added peace of mind, the villa features an auxillary water tank, ensuring a continuous and reliable water supply in the rare event of any service interruptions.
IS THE WATER SAFE TO DRINK?
Yes. The home is supplied with municipal water, which is generally considered safe to drink in Manuel Antonio. For added convenience, the refrigerator is equipped with a filtered water dispenser and ice maker. Bottled water is also readily available at nearby grocery stores.
HOW MANY POOLS DOES THE VILLA HAVE?
Casa Playa y Selva features two private infinity-edge pools. The main infinity pool overlooks the rainforest and ocean, and offers a spacious terrace for relaxing and entertaining.
Several guest suites open directly onto the main pool terrace. As the pool is not fenced, we ask that children be supervised at all times. The second is a small infinity-edge soaking pool reserved exclusively for guests staying in the Sky Suite.
AMMENITIES PROVIDED?
In addition to the amenities featured on our website, the villa includes air conditioning throughout, gas grill, beach towels, boogie boards, foosball table, cornhole, board games, and playing cards.
The Area & Wildlife
HOW FAR IS THE BEACH?
A scenic downhill rainforest path leads from the villa to the beach, only 150 meters away. At the end of the trail, a gated access point maintained by the neighboring hotel leads directly to a beautiful stretch of coastline.
ARE RESTAURANTS IN WALKING DISTANCE?
Numerous restaurants and cafes are located within one mile (1.6 km) of the property.
WHAT WILDLIFE MIGHT WE SEE?
The villa is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest and offers exceptional wildlife viewing right on the property.
Guests frequently observe dozens of bird species, including toucans, scarlet macaws, and green parrots.
All three monkey species found in the Manuel Antonio area are known to visit the property, as well as sloths, black and green iguanas, white-tailed deer, agutis, and a variety of butterflies.
Because the villa is immersed in nature, every stay offers unique opportunities to experience Costa Rica's remarkable wildlife in its natural habitat.
